• Digital Home Theatre - the bridging between your PC computers and traditional audio visual electronics (e.g., receivers, displays, etc.) made possible by wireless home networking results in new applications not possible before. These applications include streaming your digital music (e.g., MP3, etc.) stored on your computer or the Internet to your stereo system or watching slideshows of your digital photos on your big screen TV.
• VoIP Communications - this is a new category of hardware and software that enables people to make telephone calls via the Internet. Voice signals are converted to packets of data, which are transmitted on shared, public lines, hence avoiding the tolls of the traditional, public-switched telephone network (PSTN). In the past year, the quality and reliability of VoIP technology has improved to the point that vast numbers of users have abandoned their standard telephone contracts entirely, in favor of VoIP.
• WiFi Hotspots - hotspots provide high-speed WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) wireless Internet service in convenient public locations like restaurants, coffee shops, doctor waiting area, hotels, train stations, etc. This enables you to better differentiate your business place and attract new customers.
